New Delhi, November 15 (IANS). Railway Board Chairman Satish Kumar had a special conversation with IANS on Friday. During this, he discussed the ‘Armour System’ which is considered important from security point of view and many models of railways coming in the future.
Railway Board Chairman Satish Kumar told about the Kavach system that ‘Kavach System’ will be installed on the New Delhi-Mumbai and New Delhi-Howrah railway tracks by 2025, while its work will be completed in the entire Indian Railways by 2030. .
Told that Kavach will be a very important technology improvement, which will greatly increase the standard of safety of Railways. Whatever technology related problems there were, we have removed them in Kavach 4.0. There are two important works related to this, in which we have to install loco armor in every loco. For this, a tender has been given to install loco armor in 10,000 locomotives. Loco armor will be installed in one to one and a half years.
Apart from this, work is already going on on about 3000 kilometers of New Delhi-Mumbai and New Delhi-Howrah tracks. Track work on both routes will be completed by December 2025. Kavach system will be completely installed in Indian Railways by 2030.
He said that work is going on on all the models of railways that are being seen. Many projects have been completed. All will be inspected for safety and will be dedicated to the nation.
Whatever project of Vande Sleeper is there, it has been completed. Testing is going on on this. After this, its trial will continue for two months. After this, nine racks will be made and an order will be placed for making 50 more racks, which will be made in two-three years.
