Jaipur : Former Minister Pratap Singh Khachariyawas said that the BJP government has committed a great sin by changing the name of Indira Gandhi Urban Guarantee Employment Scheme. Ever since the BJP government was formed in Rajasthan, no person has been given employment under the scheme. The scheme has already been closed by the government. When the BJP government stopped providing employment in cities, then there is no justification in changing the name of Urban Employment Guarantee Scheme from Indira Gandhi to Chief Minister Employment Guarantee Scheme. The BJP government is proud of the by-election victory.
Now Chief Minister Urban Employment Guarantee Scheme
The BJP government has changed the name and logo of the previous Congress government’s Indira Gandhi Urban Employment Guarantee Scheme. Now it will be known as Chief Minister Urban Employment Guarantee Scheme. The Autonomous Government Department issued its orders on Monday. The decision on this was taken even before the by-election, but the orders were issued now. The government had earlier changed the name of Indira Rasoi to ‘Shri Annapurna’ Rasoi.
Urban Employment Guarantee Scheme…
The scheme was launched on September 9, 2022 to provide 100 days of employment in a year to the urban unemployed. A budget of Rs 800 crore was allocated and 9593 works were identified.
