‘Khadim has nothing to do with history’ Baba Balaknath jumps into controversy over changing name of hotel in Ajmer

Ajmer : Rajasthan Government has changed the name of Hotel ‘Khadim’ in Ajmer to ‘Ajaymeru’. Since then, politics has heated up in the district. On Wednesday, the Secretary of Khadim’s Union had given a strong reaction on this matter and targeted the BJP. He had said that Red Fort, Qutub Minar and Taj Mahal should also be destroyed. But history will not be erased with rubber. Now BJP MLA from Rajasthan Baba Balaknath has retaliated on his statement.

‘The government has taken the right decision’

MLA Balaknath said, ‘Khadim has nothing to do with the heritage, culture and history of Rajasthan. I believe that the government has taken the right decision. There are memorable things related to culture and history in Rajasthan. Like the names of places are names of great personalities. If any residential place is named after them, then our future generations will know who fought for us. Which people worked to unite the society?

Statement on Prithviraj Chauhan’s fort

The BJP MLA further said, ‘I went to Ajmer one and a half years ago. I got information there that there is only Prithviraj Chauhan’s fort in Ajmer. It has been more than 250 years since the Mughals left India. Prithviraj Chauhan, by whose name Rajasthan is known, his fort is still occupied by the Mughal rulers. I want that the encroachment should be removed from there. The only sign that remains, the government should renovate it. The history of Rajasthan should be kept before our present generation. The fort should also be conserved and the memories of Prithviraj Chauhan should be kept in the fort. What he has done for his country and culture, his sacrifice and history are truly incomparable. The history of people who have sacrificed their lives must be known to the present and future generations. We believe that now the time has come to liberate the fort of Prithviraj Chauhan from the Mughal rulers.

Strategy being made in illegal mosques

On the illegal activities going on in Mewat region, Balaknath said, ‘Such strategies are made by sitting in illegal mosques in Mewat. Be it on the topic of religious conversion or love jihad. Apart from this, online fraud activities are conducted. I believe that this should be curbed. We respect all religions, it is not our intention to insult any religion. But, if there is a conspiracy against humanity and the country, then it should be investigated. The government should look into the illegal construction and take action. Village and forest department land has been illegally encroached upon. We are keeping an eye on this and a complete list is also ready, in which the places of illegal encroachment have been identified. Have told the government about this and will also ask in future that these things should be removed.
