Jaipur, November 20 (IANS). BJP MLA from Rajasthan Baba Balak Nath spoke to IANS on Wednesday. He has reacted to the decision to change the name of Hotel ‘Khadim’ in Ajmer to ‘Ajaymeru’, the renovation of Prithviraj Chauhan’s fort in Ajmer, the film on Godhra incident and the strategies being implemented against illegal mosques in Mewat.
Rajasthan government has changed the name of Hotel ‘Khadim’ in Ajmer to ‘Ajaymeru’. When BJP MLA Baba Balak Nath was asked to comment on this, he said that ‘Khadim’ has nothing to do with the heritage, culture and history of Rajasthan. I believe that the government has taken the right decision. There are other things related to the culture and history of Rajasthan. Like the names of places are names of great personalities. If any residential place is named after them, then our future generations will know who fought for us. Who worked to unite the society?
You had also demanded changing the names of many places in Ajmer. In response to this question, the BJP MLA said that I had gone to Ajmer one and a half years ago. I got information there that there is only Prithviraj Chauhan’s fort in Ajmer. It has been more than 250 years since the Mughals left India. Prithviraj Chauhan, by whose name Rajasthan is known. His fort is still occupied by the Mughal rulers. I want that the occupation should be removed from there. The only sign is that the government should renovate it. The history of Rajasthan should be kept before our present generation. The fort should also be conserved and the memories of Prithviraj Chauhan should be kept in the fort. What he has done for his country and culture, his sacrifice and history are truly incomparable. The history of people who have sacrificed their lives must be known to the present and future generations. We believe that now the time has come to liberate the fort of Prithviraj Chauhan from the Mughal rulers.
In response to a question regarding the film made on the Godhra incident, the BJP MLA has said that the Congress government has done a lot of politics on the Godhra incident. In this incident, workers associated with the Ram Temple movement were burnt alive. Today’s young generation has got the opportunity to know the reality of that incident. Earlier, the investigating agencies had put forward the reality of Godhra incident.
Illegal activities take place in Mewat region, the center of which is illegal mosques where they sit and make strategies. On this the BJP MLA said that we are continuously engaged in this program. We are placing this demand before the government also. The illegal programs that run in Mewat region. Their centers are illegal mosques. These people sit there and make strategies in a planned manner. Be it the topic of religious conversion or love jihad. Apart from this, online fraud activities are conducted. I believe this should be curbed. We respect all religions, it is not our intention to insult any religion. But, if there is a conspiracy against humanity and the country then it should be investigated. The government should look into the illegal construction and take action. Village and forest department land has been illegally encroached upon. We are keeping an eye on this and the complete list is also ready. In which places regarding illegal encroachments have been identified. We have told the government about this and will also ask in future that these things should be removed.
