Jaipur : A ‘Khat-Khat gang’ is active in the city, which is stealing valuables, especially mobile phones, from cars by distracting drivers. This gang’s method is simple but works fast. The gang members knock on the doors of vehicles stopping at intersections, pretending to be an accident. As soon as the driver opens the window, another member of the gang steals the phone or other valuables kept in the car from the other window. They commit this crime so fast that the driver does not realize the theft and moves on.
