Banswara News Desk: The war of words between BJP and Bharat Adivasi Party intensified in Chaurasi Assembly on Monday (11 November). On Monday, the last day of the by-election campaign, there was a public meeting of BJP in the well of Chaurasi Assembly. CM Bhajanlal Sharma held a meeting for BJP candidate Karilal Nanoma. In the meeting, Sarpanch Kantilal of Gram Panchayat Badgama of Chikhali Panchayat Samiti took a dig at the policy of BAP. He said from the stage, “Bharat Adivasi Party MP Rajkumar Rot had issued a statement before the Lok Sabha elections saying that tribal girls should be married to boys of Muslim community. He said that people who mislead such tribal society should be killed. Girls from tribal community will not be married to Muslim community.”
Rot said- will file FIR against Sarpanch
After the statement of Sarpanch Kantilal, late on Monday (11 November) evening, BAP MP Rajkumar Roat said, “I did not give such a statement.” He protested against the statement of BJP-backed Sarpanch Kantilal. He said that BJP has violated the code of conduct. FIR will be lodged against him.
Direct contest between BJP and BAP in elections
On the last day of election campaign, a direct contest is being seen between BAP candidate Anil Katara and BJP candidate Karilal Nanoma. In the entire by-election, no big leader came to campaign in support of Congress candidate Mahesh Rot. The verbal attack between BAP and BJP has intensified. Both parties are making statements against each other.
Sarpanch Kantilal stuck to his statement
Sarpanch Kantilal has stuck to his statement. He said that MP Rajkumar Roat had publicly said that tribal girls should marry Muslims. He himself opposes this. We will get girls married in tribal society only. Who is Rajkumar Rot who advises us to marry in another religion?
