Jaipur : Deoli- After the violence during the by-election in Samravata of Uniara, the government has now asked for an investigation into the entire incident. After the meeting held with the people of Samravata village at the house of Minister of State for Home Jawahar Singh Bedham on Tuesday, Minister Kirori Lala Meena told the media that the matter will be investigated by the Divisional Commissioner. However, there was some uproar regarding this. When some of the Panch Patels came to Samarwata, they demanded a judicial inquiry, after which Kirori Lal Meena got enraged. At the same time, Congress is attacking BJP over the matter of getting the investigation done by the Divisional Commissioner. Sachin Pilot said that nothing will come out of this investigation. There is no point in getting the matter investigated by the Divisional Commissioner, how will one government official investigate another? Now Sachin Pilot and Kirori Lal Meena have come face to face in this matter.
“Gehlot, go to Dotasara and Pilot.”
The Panch-Patels who came from Samravata village had agreed in the meeting to get the investigation done by the Divisional Commissioner, but later when they refused to do so, Kirori lashed out at them. Some villagers were also talking about the arrest of the Collector-SP. On this Kirori asked him, “Who among you is saying to arrest the Collector-SP?” He further said, “Now I will not go to the Chief Minister. Go to Gehlot, Dotasara and Pilot. If they get the Collector-SP arrested. Get down and correct your statement. Now you people are saying that you do not agree. If you people did not agree then why did you say yes?
Don’t know what the government wants – Pilot
Sachin Pilot said, “Earlier it was heard that there will be a judicial inquiry on the Samravata violence, but now they are saying that the Divisional Commissioner will investigate it, I don’t know what the government wants. The investigation should be on whether this incident was done deliberately. “The atmosphere was spoiled to benefit whom?”
“There should be a judicial inquiry into the incident.”
On the announcement of investigation by the Rajasthan government at the Divisional Commissioner level in the Tonk violence case, Pilot said – If the matter is to be investigated impartially, then there should have been a judicial inquiry into the entire incident. No result is going to emerge from the Divisional Commissioner’s investigation. He also said that how will the government officials investigate the misdeeds of their own officials?
