Jaipur : Rajasthan government minister Kirori Lal Meena has written a letter to Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma demanding the cancellation of the Sub Inspector Recruitment Exam held in 2021. Kirori wrote that even after such a big fraud, the recruitment exam not being canceled yet is troubling me and the general public. Expressing doubt on the entire recruitment, Kirori wrote, the investigation revealed that more than 80 percent of the selection in the entire recruitment has been done through fraud, 20 percent is also under suspicion, because the arrest of many main accused is still pending. Why has the Sub Inspector Recruitment 2021 not been canceled yet even after all this has been exposed. The local investigation agency (SPG) has recommended the government to cancel the SI exam.
‘There was a big scam in the SI recruitment exam’
Kirori Lal has told the CM that, I fought on the streets for 5 years against the fraud in the Police Sub Inspector Recruitment Examination and other recruitment examinations conducted by RPSC in the year 2021. I raised my voice for the youth unemployed, poor, deprived class. There was a big scam in the Sub Inspector Recruitment Examination conducted during the tenure of the Congress government. Out of 859 posts, more than 500 fake candidates became station in-charges after getting selected through paper leak, dummy candidates, who are currently undergoing training. I raised my voice against them and exposed the names of the people involved in it, who are recently in police custody after investigation. Presently, after the formation of the BJP government, the SIT (SOG) formed after the decision under your leadership, after the appointment of capable officers there, this rigging in the recruitment examinations has been exposed.
Ramuram Raika was also mentioned in the letter
Kirori Lal Meena recently praised the government for the arrest of former RPSC members Ramuram Raika and Babulal Katara. He wrote that there is evidence of large-scale irregularities in all the recruitment exams held during their tenure, of which the Sub Inspector Recruitment Exam 2021 is one. Ramuram Raika got his son, daughter and daughter-in-law selected by getting the paper from RPSC and teaching them the paper a week before the exam.
‘Confidence has been lost in the transparency of the recruitment process’
Kirori further wrote in the letter, this recruitment exam was rigged at every level. The confirmation of the physical and interview papers and the SOG officer is proof that the papers of all the shifts were leaked by different gangs before the examination began. Due to which about 8 lakh applicants in the Sub Inspector Recruitment Exam 2021 lost faith in the transparency of the recruitment process. Recently, in the investigation, so far around 50 trainee sub-inspectors have been arrested, more than 80 paper mafias have been arrested, many accused and the kingpin are absconding, only time will tell how far this series will stop.
‘The fact that the recruitment exam has not been cancelled is upsetting me’
But even after such a big fraud, the fact that the said recruitment exam has not been cancelled is troubling me and the general public. This is the first time such fraud has been exposed in Rajasthan. The investigation team and the police headquarters themselves have recommended the cancellation of the Police Sub Inspector Recruitment Exam 2021. The government should cancel this recruitment and immediately organize a new recruitment.
