Ajmer News Desk: There are illegal kitchens running near the drains outside Ajmer Jawahar Lal Nehru Hospital. There can be a risk of infection from food cooked in it. Chapatis and batis are being served in plates in the open on hand carts and tables. Food is being sold on hand carts by some families and people near the wall outside the hospital. In these, dal-baati, chapati etc. are being prepared and food is being fed in the open by placing stools near the drains. Mosquitoes, flies etc. also keep hovering over the food from nearby drains. In such circumstances, infection may occur.
This carelessness should not prove costly.
Utensils are cleaned by placing a strip over the drain.
By putting the utensils in dirty water in the same tub, they wash them with water and then use them.
Prepared food is sold in the open.
They are cooking food without covering the drains.
The situation is bad here too
Dhabas are also operated near the drain in front of the gate at the end of Vijayalakshmi Park of the hospital. Here people remain troubled all day long due to the foul smell of the drain. Here too food is being fed in the open.
Food for 8 rupees in Annapurna Kitchen, Sanya decreased
Annapurna Kitchen operates in Jawahar Lal Nehru Hospital. Food is available here for Rs 8. Food is served while sitting on tables and chairs in a closed hall, but some people are not liking this food. Some people, in order to have food outside, eat on hand carts near open drains, this has also reduced sanity. Lalan, a person eating food in Annapurna Rasoi, said that pulses and rice are cooked here well. I have been eating here for the last one month.
