New Delhi, November 14 (IANS). Nursery admission is about to start in more than 1,700 private schools of Delhi. If you are thinking of enrolling your child in nursery, then start your preparations.
The Directorate of Education of Delhi Government has released the program regarding nursery admission. First of all, prepare a file which contains all the documents related to the children. Parents often face problems regarding documents during admission.
According to the Directorate of Education, for the academic session 2025-26, Nursery, K.G. And admission forms for the first class will be available from November 28. Apart from the school website, this form can also be taken by visiting the school.
At present admissions will be done only on 75 percent seats. After this, the admission process for the remaining 25 percent seats of the school will start when 75 percent seats for general category in the schools are filled. For this, the Directorate of Education will issue further notice and give further information.
Parents should note that forms will be available on 28th November. You can submit the completed form till 20th December. A lot of time is being given by the Directorate of Education for filling the forms and preparing the documents. But, in a hurry, parents leave the form incomplete. Due to which their form is cancelled. Do not make any mistake while filling the form otherwise the form will be canceled. Parents will have to pay Rs 25 for the form.
For nursery admission, schools will have to upload their admission criteria on the website of the Directorate of Education. It has been seen many times that many schools do not release the admission criteria on the website of the Directorate during nursery admissions. Points are given by private schools in this parameter. Many schools also admit children on ‘first come, first served’ basis.
According to the nursery admission programme, the admission list will be released after the submission of forms on 20th December. Children who have been allotted seats in the list will also be sent a message on their mobile phones.
