Sikar : On the one hand, transfers are completely banned in the state. On the other hand, the game of deputation is going on in the Education Department for the favourites, by keeping the rules aside. As soon as the new government was formed in Rajasthan, the government ordered the cancellation of all deputations. Bhajanlal Government initially cancelled some deputations done during the Congress rule, but now the new government has also opened the way for deputation for its favourites. Due to the game of deputation, the teaching system in many schools is also getting affected. Many deputation orders issued by the Education Department are also being widely discussed on social media.
Physical teacher appointed as resource person
The Directorate of Education issued orders for the deputation of a physical teacher of Government Higher Secondary School Kharapar Barmer on 22 August. In this, teacher Mohit Chaudhary was posted as a resource person for special education in Alwar. In this case, the officials of special teachers’ organizations say that only special teachers can be appointed to the posts of special education as per the guidelines of the Rehabilitation Council of India.
The orders of these states are most discussed
Two orders of the education department were most discussed on social media. From NOC to other procedural documents for sending a teacher to Haryana went viral on social media. At the same time, sending a teacher on deputation to Maharashtra is being hotly discussed in the education department.
Deputation of third class teachers also took place
Many third class teachers were deputed from one district to another by the education department. Recently, a teacher from Jalore district was deputed to Chaumun. Many teachers have been posted in many districts including Bundi.
Deputations happen only after permission- Dilawar
Education Minister Madan Dilawar said that there is a ban on deputation and transfers, but some people suffer from serious illnesses, whose cases are sent to the Chief Minister after understanding their circumstances. Transfers are made only after his permission.
Rajasthan Teachers Association said it was wrong
Rajasthan Teachers’ Union Shekhawat’s state general secretary Upendra Sharma said that, whether it is transfer or deputation, there should be a policy. On one hand there is a shortage of teachers in schools and on the other hand it is wrong to send favourites to other districts. The Directorate itself is deputing teachers. Whereas the government itself had said as soon as it came to power that now the game of deputation will not work in Rajasthan.
