Jaipur : In the police sub-inspector recruitment paper leak case, the High Court ordered the release of the arrested taxi driver on bail. Judge Ganesh Ram Meena gave this order on the bail plea of Sanjay Kumar. Advocate Sanjeev Singhal, appearing for the petitioner, told the court that the petitioner is a taxi driver and people associated with the paper leak case took his services by paying fare.
SOG arrested the petitioner on April 11 in a case registered under various sections of IPC, Anti-Copying Act and Information Technology Act. The petitioner is accused of transporting the accused of paper leak from one place to another and taking some candidates to the examination centre. There is no evidence in the charge sheet against him regarding his involvement in the paper leak case. Despite this, the subordinate court refused to release him on bail.
Special Public Prosecutor Anurag Sharma said that the petitioner helped the accused. These include Bhambu and other members of the Paperleek gang. The petitioner left some candidates at the examination centre. While accepting the bail plea, the court said that the petitioner only dropped the accused from one place to another.
