Actually JP IMA means Jodhpur, Pali, Marwar Industrial Area. It is to be developed as a wide corridor. The way Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor has been developed, in the same way this project is to be developed in Rajasthan. For this, one thousand acres of land has been acquired. Industrial parks, societies and colonies, big parks, power and water centers are also being developed here. That is, work will be done at one place and residential area will also be built. More than forty thousand people will get work at one time and a large number of people will be able to live together.
CM Bhajan Lal was writing letters to the central government for this scheme for the last 6 months
Bhajan Lal government of Rajasthan was continuously trying to get benefit for this scheme in the central budget. CM Bhajan Lal himself wrote many letters to many ministers of the center during six months so that this project could be developed. Due to continuous efforts, now the central government has made a provision of 922 crores for this project. The state government is investing about three hundred and seventy crores in it. Infrastructure will be developed with this. This project is also beneficial for other states because JPMIA project is just thirty kilometers away from Jodhpur and Pali city. It is also close to the railway line. Jodhpur International Airport is only thirty kilometers away. While two different national highways pass very close. That is, there is direct connectivity with many states.
