Kota News Desk: A student returning to the village after playing Kabaddi became a victim of an accident. 500 meters before the house, the speeding tractor trolley overturned and fell into the drain 10 feet below. Six youths were sitting in the trolley. One of which got buried under the trolley. The incident took place on Sunday afternoon in Amarpura village of Sultanpur police station area of Kota. Student Vishal Prajapat (15) was a resident of Amarpura village. Used to study in 10th class. After postmortem, the police handed over the body to the relatives. On the complaint of family members, a case has been registered against the tractor driver.
Rakesh of the village told that Sunday was a holiday. Vishal had gone with his 5 friends to play Kabaddi in Oven village, 4 km away. At 3 pm all 6 children were returning back to their village Amarpura. On the way, they found a tractor which was coming towards Amarpura village. All the 6 children sat in the tractor. The driver was driving the tractor at high speed. He had earphones in his ears. The tractor became unbalanced due to jumping over a pothole on the road 500 meters before the house. Overturned in a drain 10 feet below the road. Upon finding out, people working in the nearby fields ran to help.
Five children were taken out by opening the door of the trolley. Vishal’s chest got buried under the trolley. The people present on the spot tried to straighten the trolley. Was not successful due to water in the drain. After which I reached with the tractor. With the help of the tractor, I straightened the trolley and took Vishal out. Vishal and another youth suffered serious injuries in the accident. Both were brought to Sultanpur Hospital. Where the duty doctor checked and declared Vishal dead. At present the tractor owner has not been located. The tractor driver was returning after emptying the RCC goods. Vishal was the elder of the two brothers. Sultanpur police station CI Harlal told that Vishal was returning to the village after playing Kabaddi. He died when the tractor trolley overturned. A case has been registered against the tractor driver on the complaint of father Nandkishore. The case is being investigated.
