Kota : In the case of rape of an innocent girl in Kota, Special Judge Mukesh Arya of POCSO Court No. 2 on Thursday found the accused Bunty guilty and sentenced him to 20 years of rigorous imprisonment. Besides, a fine of Rs 1 lakh 10 thousand has also been imposed. Special Public Prosecutor Vijay Kachhawaha said that the girl’s elder mother and others had given a report at a police station in the city on December 3, 2021. In which he told that his brother-in-law had gone to work.
Brother-in-law’s 8 year old daughter was playing with children in the street. There was a shop there. Bunty, a young man living in the neighborhood, was found near the shop. He promised to go along and pluck plums. Took his 8 year old daughter and another child with him to the farm. Work was going on in a house near the farm. Bunty gave 20 rupees and sent the child away. Gave an 8 year old innocent girl 10 rupees and took her to an empty house and raped her there. When the girl screamed, the accused fled from the spot. After coming home the girl told the whole story. The police had registered a case on the report. The accused was arrested in the case and a challan was presented against him. Statements of 18 witnesses were obtained from the prosecution side.
