Kota : Khatauli police station of the district has arrested the accused of fraud. The accused used to cheat people by involving them in Tantra Mantra Vidya on the pretext of quadrupling the money. The accused was absconding for the last 7 months. DSP Etawah Shivam Joshi said that on May 2024, complainant Jitendra Sharma, resident of Baroda district Sheopur MP and Devkinandan Soni, resident of Kota Indra Market, had given a complaint in Khatauli police station. In the complaint, it was told that Khatauli resident Mahavir Bairagi alias Baba acquired the knowledge of Tantra Mantra by doing witchcraft. Showed four times the silver bricks, coins and Rs 500-500 notes.
He deceived us by showing sleight of hand. The accused took Rs 5 lakh from Jitendra and Rs 5 lakh 50 thousand from Devkinandan. When both the complainants went to ask for money from the accused, the accused did not return the money and instead threatened to implicate them in a case. Based on the complaint of the complainants, a case was registered and investigation was started. After investigation, accused Mahavir Bairagi alias Baba (48) was arrested. At present the accused is being interrogated in connection with the fraud.
