Kota : A case of submission of false affidavit by an Assistant Professor has come to light in Government Engineering College, Jhalawar, a constituent college of Rajasthan Technical University (RTU), Kota. A lawyer from Kota has given a legal notice to RTU Kota demanding action against the Assistant Professor and Principal of Jhalawar Engineering College. On the legal notice of the lawyer, RTU Kota issued an Internal Office Note (I.O.N) on November 14 asking for a factual report from Jhalawar Engineering College.

According to the legal notice of lawyer Sujit Swami, Motilal Rinwan, Assistant Professor, Engineering Department, Jhalawar Engineering College, had submitted an affidavit regarding children in 2012, 4 years after joining. Information was given in the affidavit about the birth of 5 children. In which the birth of the youngest son was stated to be in April 2002. The birth certificate of the youngest child was issued on 2 May 2012, 10 years after his birth and just eight days before the affidavit was given at the institute on 10 May 2012. Whereas the date of birth of the youngest son in the marksheet issued by the Board of Secondary Education Ajmer is April 2006. There is a difference of 4 years between the information given in the affidavit and the date of birth mentioned in the mark sheet. Assistant Professor is on the job by giving wrong information related to children.

Sujit said that according to the notification issued by the Directorate of Technical Education on January 8, 2010, it is mandatory for every selected candidate to give an affidavit of not having more than two children on or after June 1, 2002. Teachers coming in government service give all the information related to their children in it. According to this rule, if someone shares the information of five children in the affidavit, then he is not given a government job. According to the legal notice, in the inspection report conducted by Rajasthan Technical University in the year 2020-21, Principal Kartar Singh has the post of Found not to have suitable qualifications. About which Dean Affair informed the institute in writing in April 2021. But Kartar Singh is still holding the post of Principal.
demanded strict action
Advocate Sujit Swami has issued a legal notice to RTU Kota to terminate Assistant Professor Motilal, register a criminal case against him, make full recovery of the salary paid to him from the beginning till now along with other items, and hold the Principal accountable for his negligence in the entire work. Strict action has also been demanded against him for hiding the criminal case and holding the post of Principal despite being found ineligible.
Principal said – No information about fake document
Regarding this, Principal of Jhalawar Engineering College, Kartar Singh said that Motilal is an assistant professor in Rinwan College. A legal notice has come from RTU regarding him. We will send its answer to the university by Monday. However, there is no information about presenting fake documents anywhere in our records. Motilal had given an affidavit in 2007. The college had asked for it in 2012. Both have the same information. We have asked information related to documents from Moti Lal. As soon as their documents are presented, they will send them to the university. Acting Registrar of RTU Kota, Dheeraj Kumar Soni, said that a complaint has been received regarding the date of birth of the children in the affidavit presented by Assistant Professor Motilal Rinwan. In this regard, a factual report has been sought from the Principal of Jhalawar Engineering College. The situation will become clear only after receiving the report.
