Kota : Kota JEE Advanced Entrance Examination-2025 will be conducted on 18th May. This was announced by IIT Kanpur on Monday by issuing a press release. As per the announcement, the examination will be held in two shifts. Both the shifts will be of 3 hours each. The first shift will be from 9 to 12 am and the second shift will be from 2.30 to 5.30 pm. Maximum 1 lakh 80 thousand 200 students appeared in JEE Advanced 2024. This number may be higher in 2025, as around 16 lakh students are likely to appear for JEE Main and out of these, top 2.50 lakh students will be declared eligible for Advanced.
However, the ‘admission-criteria’ for admission in 23 IIT institutes of the country has not been announced. For admission in IIT institutes, 75 percent marks for General Category, OBC-NCL, EWS-Category students and 65 percent marks for SC-ST category students or appearing in top 20 percentile in 12th Board is the eligibility criteria. No official announcement of any kind has been made. According to the information of NTA, after the end of JEE Main January and April attempts, the qualifying cutoff percentile of JEE Advanced and All India Ranks of JEE Main will be released on April 17. 2.5 lakh students declared successful will get one month time to prepare for JEE Advanced.v
