Kota : Kota Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit in Jaipur on Monday. Live telecast of the Prime Minister’s speech was shown on the Chabal River Front. Investors and entrepreneurs were present along with administrative officials. The Prime Minister said that there is a lot of scope for wildlife tourism in Rajasthan. Taking the names of Mukundara Hills, Ranthbhaur and Sariska, he said that this is a paradise for those who like wildlife. Referring to handloom and handicraft, the Prime Minister said that Kota Doria is recognized all over the world. Talking about Delhi Mumbai Corridor, Modi said that a large part of it is passing through Rajasthan. Kota and Bundi will also benefit from the Bharatmala project. It is noteworthy that under the Bharatmala project, there is a plan to start traffic on the eight-lane expressway up to Kota this month. 70 percent work of Mukundara Tunnel has been completed. It is proposed to be commissioned by September next year. Referring to mineral reserves, he said that there are large reserves of minerals like Kota stone (limestone).

Mukundara Hills Tiger Reserve is unique compared to other tiger reserves in the country. There is immense potential for wildlife tourism here. The Tiger Reserve is spread over 760 square kilometers. The beauty of Chambal passing through here attracts tourists. Mukundara is inhabited by many creatures including bear, panther, otter, python etc. Apart from these, 250 species of birds can be seen here. Chambal safari can also be enjoyed along with jungle safari. The residents of the area are waiting for the settlement of tigers soon.
