Kota Police caught the driver carrying gravel from Banas river, FIR registered

Kota : Kunhadi Police of Kota city has taken action against illegal gravel transportation. The team has seized a trailer filled with gravel. 70 tonnes of gravel has been seized from the trailer. The gravel was brought from Banas river for illegal supply. The driver has been arrested in the case. The accused used to supply gravel very cleverly by covering the trailer with tarpaulin. A letter has been written to the Mining and GST Department for action in the case of illegal gravel.

Kunhadi police station SHO Arvind Bhardwaj said – During the blockade and patrolling on November 20, a trailer was seen coming from Bundi on the ROB culvert. Stopped the trailer and checked it. The trailer was filled with gravel. On which the driver of the trailer was asked for gravel related license, waybill, royalty and other documents. The driver refused to have the documents related to gravel transportation. The trailer was loaded with 70 tonnes of gravel. Gravel confiscated for not having documents. Iqbal Hussain (42), resident of Bundi Miragate, was arrested. Regarding gravel, a letter has been written to the Transport Department, Mining Department, GST Department to take separate action and recover the revenue loss caused to the government as per the rules.
