Kota : Kota shooter Bhavesh Sharma has won gold in 0755 India Open Competition Rifle/Pistol 2024. Bhavesh has secured first place in the 50 meter pistol event in the competition organized by the National Rifle Association of India at Bhopal Shooting Range in MP. Before this, Bhavesh had won silver in the state in 2017 and gold in the pre-national in 2017. Has been a top-10 shooter at the national level in 2018.
Shooter Bhavesh told that he participated in the senior event in the competition organized from 19 to 28 November in Bhopal. 323 competitors from across the country participated in the 50 meter pistol senior event. About 100 shooters from Rajasthan were also included in these. In which he won the gold by scoring 274 marks out of 300 by taking 30 shots. Bhavesh told that he has a shooting range in Gumanpura, Kota. Where he also teaches shooting to children. Currently he does not have a pistol license. Practice with rented pistol only. In competitions he shoots only with rented pistols. In 2018, he had applied to the district administration for a pistol license. License not made yet.
