Kota : A young man was found trapped in a cable after falling from a height in Bhimganjmandi police station area of Kota city. On information, police reached the spot and brought him down and brought him to MBS Hospital. The duty doctor checked and declared him dead. Young man Manoj (32) used to collect and sell scrap. Manoj was originally a resident of Lakheri, Bundi and was living in Kota for the last 15 years. At present he used to sleep on a cart under a culvert in the station area. It is said that Manoj, in an intoxicated state, fell down (about 25 feet) from the Rangpur culvert and got stuck due to the cables passing through there. A wire got stuck in Manoj’s neck. Due to which he remained hanging.

Brother-in-law Anil told that Manoj used to work as a scrap collector. Sometimes he also worked as a laborer on the band instrument cart. Fed up with fights under the influence of alcohol, the wife was living in her maternal home with her 13-year old daughter for two months. Manoj lived alone. Manoj’s death was reported at 8 pm on Monday night. He committed suicide or fell under the influence of alcohol. Don’t know about this.
Police engaged in investigation of the case
Bhimganjmandi police station head constable Sirajuddin said that at 6.30 pm on Sunday evening, information was received about a person hanging on a wire. After which the team went to the spot. He was brought down. People nearby told during interrogation that the young man fell down from the Rangpur culvert and hanged himself in the wires. A wire was stuck around his neck. Information about whether the wires were electrical or otherwise was not available because Chetak had gone to the spot. What time did the young man fall down, whether it was suicide or an accident will be known only after investigation.
