Hyderabad, November 14 (IANS). Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President B. Mahesh Kumar Gaur on Thursday said Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president KT Rama Rao should be punished for the attack on Vikarabad district collector and other officials.
Addressing a press conference, he alleged that Rama Rao had instigated people to attack the Collector and other officials in Lagcharla village after calling former BRS MLA Narendra Reddy.
He said that KTR is the biggest accused. He urged the government not to spare anyone involved in this. KTR is trying to create obstacles in the development work of the government by instigating innocent people.
The TPCC chief said the government is setting up a green pharma cluster in Vikarabad district and it will not cause any pollution.
He claimed that more than 90 percent of the farmers agreed and gave their land for the project. Some people who did not own land attacked the officials at the behest of BRS. He termed it a conspiracy to destabilize the government.
Gaur said that KTR is desperate after losing power. Therefore, he and his party workers are instigating people to stop the development works.
He said similar efforts were made when Hydra initiated action against encroachment and when surveys were conducted for the Musi Riverfront Development Project. They are spreading lies and creating fear among people.
The TPCC president accused KTR of being involved in the Formula-E race case and said that the government is taking legal action against him.
He said that KTR misused public money for Formula-E race. He claimed that people brought Congress to power so that those involved in corruption during the BRS rule could be punished.
