Labor union protested at Hanumangarh labor office

Hanumangarh : Building Material Load Unload Mazdoor Union (CITU) demonstrated at the Labor Office on Wednesday and submitted a memorandum to the Labor Welfare and Conciliation Officer. In the memorandum, the workers alleged that the owners of the marble industries located in Kohala area were not paying them wages and their labor rights were being violated. It was told in the memorandum that about 20 marble factories are running in Kohala for the last 20 years and an association has also been formed, whose president is Manish Jain. The workers told that they work at fixed rates every year through the association and do the work of marble loading-unloading.

But for some time now, the work of marble loading is being done by tractor drivers, and those laborers are not even being paid proper wages. He warned that if this problem is not resolved immediately, workers will be forced to take to the streets, which may lead to disruption of industrial peace. The workers have clearly said in their memorandum that if their problems are not resolved then they will protest on a large scale. They say that they will fight for their rights if there is no proper solution. Comrades Bahadur Singh Chauhan, Basant Singh, Richpal Rathore, Dara Singh, Sameer Khan, Gurtej Singh, Jarnail Singh, Dheera Singh, Gurpreet Singh, Jeet Singh, Veer Singh, Mohanlal, Saheb Ram were present on this occasion.
