The beauty of the city has been eclipsed. The former Municipal Council Board had installed two sign boards of ‘I Love Dungarpur’ on the sail of Gapsagar to promote the beautification of the city. Due to non-maintenance of these boards, they have been damaged at many places. At the same time, the lights on these sign boards have also failed at night.

The Municipal Council had made the best items from waste material and installed them in public places of the city. But due to the Council not taking care of this, they have also been damaged. At the same time, the items are now full of garbage.

The former council board had spent lakhs of rupees on beautification of all the gardens of the city. Swings, fountains and cartoon artworks were installed in those gardens. Many swings in the gardens have been damaged and the fountains are lying closed. Due to this the gardens have become deserted again. In this regard, Commissioner Lokesh Patidar said that the problems related to the city will be resolved soon.
