Patna, December 11 (IANS). RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav had recently given a controversial statement on Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar regarding ‘Mahila Samvad Yatra’. On this, women workers associated with JDU protested in Patna. In this protest, JDU officials called Lalu Prasad Yadav as the father of 7 daughters and asked for an apology.
JDU spokesperson Anjum Ara while talking to IANS said, “The statement made by Lalu Prasad Yadav was a highly condemnable and objectionable statement. It is being strongly condemned in the entire country including Bihar. Today we are protesting peacefully. We are taking out a protest march. We demand from Lalu Yadav that he should apologize for the statement he has given to the daughters and women of the country and take back his words.
State President of JDU Women’s Cell, Prof. Bharti Mehta said, “The way Lalu Prasad Yadav has made indecent remarks on Nitish Kumar, the biggest advocate of the daughters of Bihar, is an insult to the daughters of Bihar. We demand on behalf of Bihar that Lalu, the father of seven daughters, Prasad Yadav should come out of the house and apologize to the women of Bihar.”
Let us tell you that during a conversation with journalists in Patna on Tuesday, when Lalu Prasad Yadav was asked for his reaction on Nitish Kumar’s ‘Mahila Samvad Yatra’, he said, “Okay, we are going, we are going to bake our eyes.”
After this, when journalists asked Lalu Yadav that JDU President has claimed that NDA will win 225 seats in 2025, Lalu Yadav reiterated his point and said, “First dry your eyes, then talk.”
