Sirohi : Sirohi Within a few days of the budget announcement to upgrade the Community Health Center located in Akarabhatta of the city, land was allotted for the Sub District Hospital. But, even after almost three months of the announcement, written orders for promotion have not been received. Due to this, there is a delay in starting the construction work of the new hospital building. Due to the current population of the city, accidents on the National Highway and other routes passing nearby, expansion of the local industrial area, compulsion to go out for the treatment of serious patients and treatment of villagers of 32 panchayats, the Community Health Center of Abu Road is being visited. Due to reasons of dependency etc., the district administration, medical department, local public representatives at their respective levels raised the issue of upgrading the hospital to the state government. These efforts continued for many years. About three months ago, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma had announced in the budget to upgrade the city’s CHC to sub-district hospital. Then it seemed that written orders would soon be issued in this regard and the work of constructing a new hospital building would begin.
15 bigha land allotted
Urban Improvement Trust Abu has allotted about 15 bighas of land on Panduri Road for the Sub District Hospital building. Adjacent to this, the Trust has about 10 bighas of land which can be allotted to the hospital if required. However, no action has been initiated regarding the allocation of this land. The way for construction of the building on the land allotted will be cleared only when the government issues written orders for the promotion of the hospital. Only after the order, the tender process for approval of new posts of medical workers, budget and building construction will be started.
