Preparations are going on in full swing at the Dargah for the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. For this program, the Khadim of the Dargah Syed Afshan Chishti and other Mujawarin have almost completed all the preparations. Prime Minister Narendra Modi offers a chaadar every year on Urs at the shrine of Khawaja Garib Nawaz. Prime Minister Modi has a lot of faith in Ajmer Dargah. In this regard, the khadim of the dargah, Syed Afshan Chishti, said that the tradition of making vegetarian food at the shrine of Khawaja Garib Nawaz has been going on for 550 years. He said that on the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday, a special dish will be prepared in the biggest deg of the dargah. In which vegetarian dishes will be prepared from rice, sugar, saffron, dry fruits.

Syed Afshan Chishti said that this dish will be distributed among the pilgrims and langar will be sent to the nearby settlements as a service. He said that vegetarian langar has been prepared in this deg for the last 550 years. According to Syed Afshan Chishti, vegetarian langar has always been prepared in this dargah and onions are also not used in it. The reason for this is that a large number of Jain brothers also have faith in Khwaja Garib Nawaz. Not only them but people of every religion come here and eat langar with full devotion.
