Jaipur : Excise Department raided three hotels in the capital late night. This action was taken on the orders of Excise Commissioner Shivprasad Nakate. In this campaign, the department took strict action against illegal liquor and hotels operating without license. The first action was taken in a hotel located near Jagatpura Pulia. The hotel operator here did not have a bar license and yet 16 boxes of liquor were recovered from the hotel. The Excise Department registered a case against the hotel operator and after recovering the liquor, confiscated it.
After this the department team raided another hotel. More than the specified number of occasional licenses were found in this hotel, which was against the rules. Occasional licenses are used for certain specific circumstances. But here their number was more than the prescribed limit. Because of this, action was taken against the hotel operator. The third action was taken at a hotel located on Chaumu House Circle. Here also the Excise Department investigated and found violation of rules. After which action was taken here also. This entire action was taken under the direction of DEO Devika Tomar of Jaipur city. The department made it clear that action will continue against anyone who violates the rules of liquor and bar operation. Strict action will be taken against him.
