Bhopal 17 November (IANS). In the last few years, the game of party change has been going on in full swing in the politics of Madhya Pradesh and a large number of Congress leaders have joined BJP. The leaders who have left Congress and joined BJP are hoping for a share in power, but their hopes are still unfulfilled.
The biggest defection in the state currently led by Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia took place in the year 2020, when 22 MLAs switched sides together and the Kamal Nath-led Congress government fell. After that many Congress leaders changed sides. Many of the leaders who switched parties with Scindia remain in power, while others are still waiting for their turn.
Even during the last assembly and Lok Sabha elections, many big leaders of Congress changed parties. Among them, former Union Minister Suresh Pachauri, former MP Gajendra Singh Rajukhedi, apart from Deepak Saxena, who is considered close to Kamal Nath, and Amarwada MLA Kamlesh Shah are prominent. Many former MLAs have also joined BJP. These are such leaders who are hoping to get bigger responsibilities after joining BJP.
Let it be known that in the state, Dr. 11 months have passed since the BJP government was formed under the leadership of Mohan Yadav. During this period, appointments have been made only in some boards and corporations. Several rounds of meetings of the party’s core committee have been held and the final decision has not been taken yet.
Sources related to BJP say that in the coming time, appointments are going to be made in the corporation and board, in which the old and loyal workers of the party will be given place and the defectors can also be given the responsibility. For this, a period of churning is going on in power and organization. There is also a possibility of a decision being taken in the coming days.
