Lecture by Gurjar painter on Rajasthani art in Tonk Russia

Tonk News Desk: Young painter Mahesh Gurjar of Tonk has brought laurels to the country by participating online in the two-day International Scientific and Practical Conference that started from Thursday in St. Petersburg State, Russia. In his address, painter Gurjar received a lot of applause by explaining the importance of Rajasthani arts.

Artists from many countries participated in the conference being held at St. Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design, Russia on the theme ‘Design and Artistic Creativity’ on the first day. He discussed various arts. Young painter Mahesh Gurjar also joined online from Jaipur at 2:40 pm and discussed and addressed Rajasthani art. Gave information about folk deities and depictions of folk deities including Lord Devnarayan, Veer Tejaji, Ramdev ji.

Mahesh Gurjar, by joining Rajasthani Dress, gave information about Rajasthani arts to the artists of many countries including Russia through online conference and invited all the artists to come to India and see the arts of Rajasthan firsthand.
