Lecture given to stop harassment of women in Tonk

A lecture was organized on Dowry System Abolition Act 1986 and prevention of women harassment on Saturday at Tonk : Government College. While presiding over the program, Principal Dr. Deepak Raj Jain inspired the girl students to be aware of their rights.

Keynote speaker Shipra Sharma, who is an alumnus of the college, discussed in detail the Dowry System Abolition Act 1986, POCSO Act, Women Harassment Prevention Act and provided information about various aspects related to it. The program was conducted by Suman Dhania. Program in-charge Dr. Sona Aggarwal made the girl students aware to resist the wrong while keeping in mind their rights and duties. Rupa Chaudhary expressed vote of thanks. All the faculty members and students were present during the program.
