Alwar News Desk: The leopard did not come into the cage even on the 9th day in the forest of Raj Rishi (RR) College of Alwar city. Leopard pug marks were found at night towards the main gate of the college. Due to leopard not coming in the cage, there is panic in the nearby colonies. College students are instructed not to go out of the campus. The people of the colony are prohibited from roaming in the college forest in the morning and evening. Still, there is a fear of leopard entering the colony. Now there is a possibility that the forest workers will go out to search the leopard in the forest. So that he can be tranquilized. On Monday afternoon, a team of forest workers set out to search for the leopard in the RR College forest. There is an effort to find the leopard in the entire forest. So that if its location is known, further efforts to tranquilize it can be started.

did not enter the cage to hunt

The leopard has come around the cage for the first 5 days. But did not enter inside. One day he tried to enter the cage. But the cage was closed. After that the leopard did not go towards the cage. Now leopard pug marks have been found nearby. Whereas the goat was kept in the cage daily. So that the leopard comes to hunt. Now it is possible that the leopard has again hunted wildlife in the forest.

Regional Forest Officer Sumit Kanojia said that as usual, two cages have been installed inside which goats have been kept as prey. The cages have been prepared natural and cave-like. Grass and leaves of green trees and plants were also placed on them. But now the leopard has not come towards the cage. Due to the leopard not being caught, there is panic among the people in the surrounding areas including Colony Alkapuri, Friends Colony, Motidungari adjacent to RR College. Two-three families are settled deep inside the forest. There is fear among their people also.
