Jhunjhunu News Desk: On Monday, 4 convicts were sentenced to life imprisonment in a 5 and a half year old murder case. Justice Sarita Naushad of Jhunjhunu SC-ST Court pronounced this sentence. A fine of Rs 31-31 thousand was also imposed on the culprits.
Special Public Prosecutor Vinod Kumar said – The culprits include Abdul Wahid, Nadeem alias Wanted, Sufiyan alias Bodiya and Sarfaraz, residents of Jhunjhunu. All the accused were out on bail.
On April 18, 2019, Pawan Chawla, son of Ashok, resident of Indira Colony, was stabbed by the accused. The dispute was about not allowing children to play in front of the house.
Pawan died during treatment in Jaipur. In this regard, deceased Pawan’s maternal uncle Babulal Dayma, resident of Gudhagaudji, had filed a case of murder against more than 12 people. The police arrested the accused and presented the challan in the court.
Special public prosecutor Vinod Kumar appeared on behalf of the victim’s side. He obtained statements from 12 witnesses. During the debate, the court found the four accused Abdul Wahid, Nadeem alias Wanted, Sufiyan alias Bodiya and Sarfaraz guilty and sentenced them to life imprisonment.
