Pali : Pali’s POCSO Court No. 1 on Tuesday sentenced two culprits to life imprisonment in the case of gangrape of a minor girl. On December 9, 2023, both of them coaxed the girl and gang-raped her. The family had registered a case under POCSO sections against both of them in Sendra police station of Beawar district. Special Public Prosecutor of POCSO Court Number 1 Upma Rawal said – In the report, the father of the victim girl told that he would send the daughter home on 9 December 2023. But he left and went to work with his wife.
The two accused youths came from behind with a bike and coaxed the daughter and took her away from home to the forest. There both of them gang-raped his daughter. When the daughter’s health deteriorated, a young man took her to the doctor on a bike. He told about stomach ache and gave him medicine. After this he ran away leaving his daughter home. In the report, the father said – When my wife and I returned home in the evening, we saw that our daughter’s condition was bad. When asked, he told that a young man he knew had left him at home. After this he told about the gang rape. After this, she went to Sendra police station and lodged a report of gang rape. The police presented the charge sheet on 18 January 2024. On Tuesday, Judge Sachin Gupta of POCSO court number one gave the verdict. In this, a 28-year-old youth resident of Sendra and his 27-year-old companion were found guilty and sentenced to life imprisonment.
