Life imprisonment to two accused in Pratapgarh kidnapping and murder case

Pratapgarh : After the completion of the hearing in the Lokesh Gayari murder case in the court in Pratapgarh, Sessions Judge Omi Purohit sentenced the accused. The court sentenced both the criminals convicted in the case to life imprisonment and a fine of Rs 1 lakh and ordered them to be sent to jail. Special Public Prosecutor Tarun Das Bairagi said – 6 years ago, on 13 December, son of Radheshyam Gayari, resident of Nathukhedi of Hathunia police station area, Lokesh Gayari was kidnapped by miscreants and demanded a ransom of Rs 20 lakh over phone.

On this, the police registered a case and arrested Prithviraj and Deepak, residents of Nathu Khedi, on the basis of mobile location. During interrogation, it was revealed that when the ransom money was not received, Lokesh was strangled to death. After this, the body was thrown into the well of the village and to destroy the evidence, the mobile phone was also broken and destroyed. After this, the police recovered Lokesh’s body. After the completion of the hearing in the case, both the miscreants were found guilty and sentenced. Deepak, involved in the case, is lodged in Jhalawar jail. He was sentenced through VC. Considering this act of the miscreants as serious, the judge punished them with life imprisonment and a fine of Rs 1 lakh. Bairagi said – During the hearing, 19 witnesses and 48 documents were presented before the court by the prosecution, revelations of the case. Artificial Intelligence played an important role in this, on the basis of which the police arrested the miscreants within 24 hours and on this basis the case was exposed.
