Jaipur News Desk: Drought day has been declared for four days in the month of November in Rajasthan. There will be no sale of liquor during these dry days. The Excise Department has issued orders in this regard. Actually, there are assembly by-elections in Rajasthan in November. Due to this, there will be a total of four dry days for three days during elections and one day due to vote counting.
For the by-elections to be held on seven assembly seats of the state, the Excise Department has issued orders and declared November 11 as a dry day in these areas from 6 pm to November 13 at 6 pm. According to the order issued by Singh, 48 hours before the end of polling in Jhunjhunu, Ramgarh (Alwar), Dausa, Deoli-Uniara (Tonk), Khinvsar (Nagaur), Salumber (Udaipur) and Chaurasi (Dungarpur) assembly constituencies i.e. on November 11 at 6 pm. There will be a dry day in these assembly constituencies and their three kilometer radius area from 15:00 hrs till the end of polling at 6:00 pm on 13th November.
In case of re-polling, there will be a dry day in the area of the concerned polling station from the announcement of re-polling till the end of re-polling.
There will be a dry day here on 23rd November
Besides, the counting day of November 23, 2024 has also been declared as dry day in the district headquarters Jhunjhunu, Alwar, Dausa, Tonk, Nagaur, Udaipur and municipal or city council areas of district Dungarpur.
