Kota : Kota Logistics Department team has taken major action against illegal LPG refilling in the city. The team raided Gumanpura area and seized 6 commercial and 59 domestic cylinders from a shop. Besides, the machine used for refilling, flute and fork have also been seized. It is being told that the Congress councilor had given the shop on rent.
Enforcement Officer Krishna Kumar Yadav said that for some time, information about illegal refilling of LPG was being received near Sindhi Colony located in Gumanpura. On the information of the informer, on the instructions of Logistics Officer Karthikeya Meena, Enforcement Officer Sandhya Sinha along with Aditi’s team went to the spot at 4.30 pm. A board of Surya Gas Agency was put up at a shop below the culvert. During interrogation, the person present at the shop revealed his name as Sonu Meena. Inside, refilling was being done with a flute (from 14 kg to 5 kg). During the search, 6 (2 empty) commercial and 59 domestic cylinders were found in the shop. A fork and refilling machine have also been seized. A board of a councilor was put up near the shop. During interrogation it came to light that the house and shop belonged to the Congress councillor. The Congress councilor has given the shop on rent. At present the action is going on.
