Jaipur News Desk: The troubles of former CM Ashok Gehlot in the famous phone tapping case during the previous Congress government are not showing any signs of stopping. Lokesh Sharma, who was a close aide of the then Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, handed over the pen drive, laptop and mobile related to the audio tape going viral to the Crime Branch of Delhi Police on Thursday night. In such a situation, it is believed that the problems of former CM Ashok Gehlot may increase.
On this occasion, Lokesh Sharma reiterated that the audio tapes were handed over to him by the then Chief Minister Gehlot and he was asked to destroy the evidence, which was not destroyed. After handing over the evidence to Delhi Police, Sharma made the video viral late on Thursday night and told the media that on July 16, 2020, Gehlot handed over the pen drive of the audio tape to him and asked him to make it viral.
As an OSD, he copied the audio from the pen drive to the laptop and then made it viral from the mobile. He handed over all three devices to the Crime Branch of Delhi Police on Thursday. He alleged that Gehlot used him. Besides, he also denied that this statement was given under pressure from any BJP or Congress leader.
