Jaipur : Along with the miscreants and suspects, those who roam around with their girlfriends at night are also in trouble…Now Jaipur Commissionerate Police is taking photos of the suspects in the blockade done from late night to morning. So that if any crime takes place anywhere in the city or in any area, the vehicles and people leaving that area can be verified. If the policemen deployed in the blockade have any doubt about the people going with their families, they can also take their photos. Police Commissioner Biju George Joseph has started this new system in the blockade to curb the crime happening late at night. Additional Police Commissioner Kunwar Rashtradeep said that apart from the four districts of the Commissionerate, East, West, North and South Police, the Commissionerate Control Room is doing blockade at 55 places from 11 pm to 5 am. The blockade is also being done by constantly changing the place.

The policemen deployed at the blockade first verify whether the driver is drunk or not. Then they ask from where the people in the vehicle have come and where they are going, and note down the vehicle number and the driver’s mobile number. If there is any doubt, they take photographs of the driver and the people in the car. Apart from this, they also check for any ID. If there is only one person in the car, and all the people in the car are young and look suspicious, then their photographs are taken with their ID cards.
