Lumpy virus knocks again in Rajasthan, more than 100 cattle found infected

Kota : Lumpy Virus has once again started spreading in the state. Cases of infected cattle are continuously being reported in Kota of the state. Due to the capture of stray animals, this disease has spread among the cattle living in Bandha Gaushala of Municipal Corporation. In two days, more than 100 animals have been found suffering from lumpy, which have been shifted to the isolation ward made at Kishorepura Can House for treatment. So far, more than 125 cases of lumpy have been reported in Kota city.

Gaushala Committee Chairman Jitendra Singh has accused the Municipal Corporation and District Administration officials of not being serious about Lampi’s disease, while Mayor Rajiv Aggarwal has also written a letter to the District Administration regarding Lampi. But no concrete steps have been taken yet to prevent lumpy. After which Gaushala President Jitendra Singh has appealed to CM Bhajanlal Sharma. He has appealed that there is chaos in many cowsheds of the state including Kota. In such a situation, unless adequate arrangements are made for proper monitoring and treatment, mother cows will remain in trouble. Along with this, Gaushala President Jitendra Singh appealed to CM Bhajan Lal and said that the Chief Minister should intervene in the whole matter and instruct the Municipal Corporation and Animal Husbandry Department to work seriously.
