Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, during his visit to Prayagraj on Wednesday, gave impetus to the preparations for Maha Kumbh and unveiled equipment and development projects worth Rs 237.38 crore for security, cleanliness friends and Ganga Sevadoots in the fair area.

After the successful completion of this event which is going to be held from 13 January to 26 February, we will come here again to greet you all. To realize the vision of a divine, grand and digital Kumbh, I wish the foundation of Prayagraj Mahakumbh event to the sanitation workers, sweepers, sailors and all the personnel associated with this entire campaign. Prayagraj’s Kumbh has been successful in establishing Prayagraj as a global image across the country and the world under the inspiration and guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

He said that along with a grand, divine Kumbh, Kumbh can also become a reflection of cleanliness, safety and orderliness, every person coming through Kumbh should feel at ease and experience immense spiritual peace, this scene will be visible in Prayagraj 2019. In that program of Prayagraj Kumbh, by washing the feet of the sanitation workers who had realized the vision of Swachh Kumbh, Prime Minister Modi had given the message at that time that if anyone is the foundation and foundation stone of Swachh Kumbh, then it is the sanitation workers, they should be respected and felicitated.

He said that since morning everyone is busy preparing for the programs that are going to be held at different places in Prayagraj. The six major baths to be held between January 13 and February 26 are Paush Purnima on January 13, Makar Sankranti on January 14, Mauni Amavasya on January 29, Basant Panchami on February 3, Maghi Purnima on February 12 and Mahashivratri on February 26. He said that this time the area of ​​Kumbh has been increased. Earlier the area used to be 1,800 hectares, which increased to 2000, then 2500 and in Kumbh it reached 3200 hectares. This time it will be organized in a vast area of ​​4000 hectares. 25 sectors have been created for this. Apart from this, parking of 1850 hectares is also being provided at a certain place on the Sangam bank. Digital Kumbh is being promoted during Mahakumbh. Under this, a digital tourism map of Prayagraj City is being developed. The program of digital cleanliness and digital security is being taken forward. Any person coming will be able to know the entire program digitally from his smartphone.

CM Yogi said that Prime Minister Modi is arriving in Prayagraj in the second week of December. He will participate in the inauguration program of Mahakumbh projects worth about Rs 6,500 crore here.

Before this, Chief Minister Yogi reached Prayagraj for various programs as well as for darshan at Nagavasuki temple. Here he garlanded the statue of Nagavasuki and took his blessings. After this, CM Yogi also saw Ganga’s son Bhishma. Along with offering flowers, aarti was also performed.
