Maharashtra’s defeat is not going down my throat: Captain Ajay Yadav

New Delhi, November 23 (IANS). The results of Maharashtra Assembly elections have come on Saturday, where the Mahayuti government has got a huge majority.

Congress has blamed the defeat on EVMs. Congress leader Captain Ajay Yadav spoke to IANS on Saturday. He has reacted on Jharkhand and Maharashtra assembly elections.

He said that Indi Alliance has achieved a historic victory in Jharkhand. The people of the tribal community were deeply hurt by the way Hemant Soren was insulted. I congratulate the parties in alliance with Congress and RJD for this victory.

On the results of Maharashtra Assembly elections, the Congress leader has said that there is still doubt in my mind as to how such a difference has happened. Right now a question mark has been raised on EVMs in Haryana. I think these people do not program EVMs in small state elections, but in Maharashtra they have programmed EVMs. Without this there cannot be such a big difference. Maharashtra’s defeat is not going down my throat.

If you are winning in Jharkhand then EVM is fine and if you lose in Maharashtra then EVM is bad, on this the Congress leader has said that this is a well thought out conspiracy. Where there are small states, EVMs are not tampered with. So that Congress and opposition cannot raise questions on these. 70 petitions have been filed regarding Haryana Assembly elections. 99 percent battery charged EVM was found. The lights and LEDs of the strong rooms of Rewari and Palwal have been switched off for 40 minutes. One thing is how 99 percent of the EVM batteries can be charged. I don’t know what is the matter with Maharashtra. I understand that I cannot accept the defeat that has happened in Maharashtra.
