New Delhi, November 23 (IANS). The BJP led ‘Mahayuti’ government has succeeded in winning the Maharashtra Assembly elections with an overwhelming majority. At the same time, the opposition alliance Maha Vikas Aghadi is disappointed.
EVMs are being blamed by the opposition for Maharashtra’s defeat. However, BJP has performed very well in this assembly elections. Overall, BJP is excited with this victory and the echo of Maharashtra Assembly victory can now be heard in Delhi.
BJP leader Kailash Gehlot has spoken to IANS on the party’s historic victory in the state. He said that BJP has a big victory in Maharashtra. BJP has never had a bigger victory than this in history. The people of the state have approved the policies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi with their vote. First, BJP succeeded in forming the government in Haryana for the third consecutive time. Now we win with a huge majority in Maharashtra. I think that the assembly elections in Delhi are going to be very exciting in the coming days. Delhi’s politics is about to change.
If Congress lost in Maharashtra Assembly elections, questions started being raised on EVMs. On this, the BJP leader has said that it is an old habit of the opposition to blame the defeat on EVMs. Now even the Supreme Court has given clean chit to EVMs. The Supreme Court has also said that tampering with EVMs is not possible. He said, “I want to ask the opposition that when they win, EVMs are not tampered with?”
He said that after Maharashtra, now it is Delhi’s turn and Delhi Assembly elections 2025 are going to be exciting as well as bring big changes in politics.
It is noteworthy that Kailash Gehlot has been a minister in the Delhi government. He has recently left Aam Aadmi Party and joined BJP.
