Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge claimed in a press conference held in Ranchi on Saturday evening that it has become clear from the first phase of voting that the India Coalition government is going to be formed here. After forming the government, we will implement all the seven guarantees that we have promised to the people here. We have done this in Karnataka and Telangana.
He said that our alliance has guaranteed to give Rs 2500 under Maiya Samman Yojana from December. BJP reached court to stop it. It seems that the central government is anti-poor and anti-women. Taking aim at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Congress President said that the way he is roaming in the elections of a small state like Jharkhand, it seems that in the coming days he will also roam in the elections of Zilla Parishad and Corporation. The Prime Minister should think about the country, think about unemployment.
He said that there is no other Prime Minister who keeps thinking about elections 24 hours a day. The Prime Minister visits foreign countries so much, he should also get information about the problems of the country. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is actually not doing anything for the public, but is doing everything to save his chair. They also lie and defame Congress. We respect the Prime Minister, but when he speaks, naturally we also have to speak.
Kharge said that the promises made by the Prime Minister to the public were not fulfilled. They should take their views seriously. They were talking about bringing bullet train. Earlier its budget was Rs 1 lakh crore. Now due to delay in the project, its cost has increased to Rs 3 lakh crore. They make promises which are difficult to fulfill.
Referring to the Prime Minister’s comments on Rahul Gandhi, the Congress President said that he calls Rahul Gandhi a prince, even though he ruled like a prince for 25 years. The Congress President said that Modi ji talks about Dalits, tribals and everyone, but does no work. Earlier Modi ji used to talk about inflation, but the price of everything has increased wildly. In 2014, the rupee was 60 rupees against the dollar. Today it became Rs 84. BJP has no programme, no vision. He just gives speeches.
Responding to the slogan of ‘Bantenge to Katenge’, Kharge said, actually they do this for the politics of polarization. He said that Jharkhand has an outstanding of Rs 1 lakh 36000 crore in coal and mining royalty. PM should tell when he will give this money. On the question of infiltrators, he said that it is the job of the Home Minister to manage the border. He can’t handle it. The security of the country is their job. But instead they target Rahul Gandhi and me.
