“Man-eater” became a headache for the people, priest died due to panther attack, here a bear attacked a saint.

Sawai Madhopur : Saint Hiteshwanand (70) was badly injured in a bear attack in Sawai Madhopur, who was taken to the district hospital, where after first aid, the saint was referred to Jaipur in a critical condition. In Gogunda, Udaipur, the panther took away the priest of the temple, Vishnu. Priest Bishnu died. Panther attacked in Rathod ka Guda of Vijay Bawadi. Due to the attacks, there was an atmosphere of fear among the villagers, DFO of Forest Department Ajay Chittaura left the spot. Gogunda SDM Dr. Naresh Soni, Tehsildar Om Singh Lakhawat along with Police Officer Shaitan Singh left. This is the sixth incident of panther attack in 10 days.

Panther hunted again in Udaipur

The panther picked up Vishnu, the priest of the temple in Gogunda, Udaipur and took him to the forest. It is being told that the priest was seen at 3 in the morning. The folk dance Gawari was being staged in this village till late night. Even after that the panther made priest Bishnu its victim. The body of Vishnu Maharaj was found at a distance of 600 meters from the temple. There is an atmosphere of fear among the villagers due to the continuous attacks of panther. The man-eating panther tore the entire body of the priest. 6 people have died in 10 days due to man-eating panther attack.

Bear attacks saint in Sawai Madhopur

A saint got injured by a bear in Sawai Madhopur. According to local resident Satyanarayan, Saint Hiteshwanand has been living at the ashram of Chhatri Jamaat of Dadupanthi community near Bhairu Darwaja for the last 15 years. On Sunday (September 29) night, the saint was sleeping under the umbrella built over the ashram due to the lighting of the ashram not working. Meanwhile, at around 10.30 pm, a bear suddenly came out of the forests of Ranthambore and came to the ashram and attacked Saint Hiteshwanand who was sleeping under the umbrella. The saint was badly injured in the attack of the bear.

Neighbors saved the saint’s life

Hearing the saint’s scream over the bear attack, Kamal Sharma and Dinesh Swami, living in the neighbourhood, reached the spot. Made noise and chased away the bear. The saint suffered serious injuries on his hands, legs and head in the bear attack.

Second incident of bear attack

This is the second incident of bear attack in three days. Two days ago also, a bear had attacked and injured 50 year old Pappu Lal Yogi, a resident of Nimli Khurd, behind the district hospital on Nimli Road of the district headquarters. Pappu Lal was going to his home on foot after finishing his job. Pappu Lal was also badly injured in the bear attack, who was referred to Jaipur after first aid in the district hospital. Pappu Lal Yogi is undergoing treatment at SMS Hospital in Jaipur.
