Udaipur : Leopard has been creating terror in Gogunda, Udaipur for 15 days. There are continuous attacks by leopards. The Forest Department is also moving forward by making planning in different ways. But no significant effect is being seen. In such a situation, today again the news of an attempt to attack Udaipur has come to light in front of Rathore’s Guda where the priest was killed in the attack. After this, the angry villagers attacked the forest department officers and employees and also vandalized government vehicles. The officers had to lock themselves in the room to save themselves, later the police handled the situation.
Villager narrowly escapes leopard attack
In fact, for the last few days, after the attack, all the departments including the rural and forest departments of Rathore Ka Guda and Suavat Ka Guda were working together. But there was no success related to Udaipur. In such a situation, internal opposition is arising among some villagers. In the evening, a person from Guda of Rathores had gone towards the forest to graze buffalo. He came and told the people that the leopard was about to attack him, when somehow he escaped to save his life. When the news gradually spread in the village, the protest increased and people gathered in large numbers.
Angry people surrounded the officers
The angry villagers moved towards the government school, where the forest department had set up a meeting point. Throwed stones and raised sticks on the forest department employees. In such a situation, to protect themselves, the employees locked themselves in the school room. Then people vandalized the vehicles lying outside. Before the situation could worsen, police reached the spot and controlled the situation. Late in the evening, District Collector Arvind Poswal reached the spot and took stock of the situation. Now a round of talks is going on with the villagers.
