‘Man-eating leopard’ who preyed on innocent children imprisoned in cage, relief to people

Udaipur : Forest Department officials, who were searching for the man-eating leopard in Udaipur for the last one week, finally got success. He was caught in a cage installed in Kundau village on Friday night. The leopard had killed three people in two days. Due to its increasing attacks, there was an atmosphere of fear in the surrounding areas. More than 50 employees of Forest Department, Army and Wildlife were engaged in catching the leopard.

How did you get hold of it?

For the last two days, the forest department team was continuously trying to catch the leopard. For this, forest department officials had installed cages and cameras at various places. A day ago, the movement of a leopard inside a cage was captured on camera. But he could not be imprisoned in that cage. Due to this, as part of a new strategy, the forest department employees installed another cage near the place of leopard movement.

5 year old innocent’s life was taken

On Friday morning around 3 to 4 o’clock the leopard came into the cage on its own. When the villagers heard the roar of the leopard, they came to know about its capture. After which he informed the forest department team about this. Let us tell you that this is the same leopard which had killed five year old innocent Suraj in Kundau village two days ago.

Leopard brought to biological park

The villagers heaved a sigh of relief after the leopard was captured in a cage installed by the Forest Department. At present the panther has been brought to Sajjangarh Biological Park in Udaipur. There he will be examined by veterinarians. The panther was caught after a two-day search by 40 forest department employees.
