Jaipur : Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is planning to take strict action against many famous schools of Rajasthan. Recently CBSE had conducted a surprise inspection in 27 schools of Rajasthan and Delhi. During this, they found dummy enrollment in these schools. This includes the names of 5 schools of the state and 25 schools of Delhi. The board has issued a show cause notice against all these schools.
CBSE issued ‘show cause notice’
On issuing the notice, CBSE says that during the inspection, the board has found violation of bylaws in these schools. Regarding this, Board Secretary Himanshu Gupta said that ‘show cause notice’ has been issued to most of the schools. If needed, legal action will also be taken against them. These schools include famous schools of Ajmer division of Rajasthan. After inspection in these schools, it was found that a large number of students have been enrolled in class 11th and 12th, who do not physically attend classes. Apart from this, irregularities were found in the attendance records (attendance register) maintained by these schools, which raised doubts about their compliance with CBSE rules. Apart from this, it was also found that some institutions were also violating the basic rules made by the board, which was compromising the quality of education and safety of the students.
Violation of rules in schools
After all the above information, CBSE has issued ‘show cause notices’ to 27 schools. These include 22 schools from two areas of Delhi and 5 schools from Ajmer division. In these notices, schools have been asked to respond about their student enrollment policy, compliance with infrastructure standards and other norms of the board.
