In such a situation, the sage allowed the construction of the fort on the condition that the fort or any building within it should not be higher than his house. If the shadow of any building falls on his house then this fort gets destroyed. It is said that Ajab Singh, the grandson of Madho Singh, ignored this warning and increased the height of the fort too much, as a result of which the monk’s house was eclipsed and the city was destroyed.
